Each costal area has its fair share of lost seamen and Aruba is no different. On the outskirts of Seroe Colorado at the southeast point of the island at the T-junction to Baby Beach, you’ll find this red anchor. One of Aruba’s most impressive landmarks is a poignant monument to the memory of the seamen who lost their lives when an oil tanker wrecked nearby. It is, however, commonly viewed as a memorial to all fallen seamen.
